State : Tirol
District : Innsbruck-Land
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on April 21, 1987.
The rooster is taken from the arms of the oldest Lords of Arnholz, who named themselves after the Arnholz Castle in the municipality. The hammer is a symbol for the serpentine mining in the area.
