English | Shoulder Sleeve Insignia. Description: On a shield 3 1/8 inches (7.94 cm) in height by 2 1/2 inches (6.35 cm) in width blazoned: “Argent, a panther crouching affronté Sable, langued Gules, detailed of the field, within a narrow border of the second”. Attached to chief, a Light Blue scroll inscribed “LINCOLN COUNTY” in Black letters, within a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) Black border.
Shoulder Loop Insignia. Description: A Silver color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inched (2.86 cm) in height consisting of a shield blazoned: Quarterly, Celeste and Argent bearing a panther’s head couped and reversed in trian aspect Sable detailed of the second”. Attached to the top, a scroll arched and turned at both ends Light Blue inscribed “ENTER TO LEARN” in base metal letters. Attached to the bottom, a scroll arched to base and turned at both ends Black inscribed “LEAVE TO LEAD” in base metal letters. |
Origin/meaning
Shoulder Sleeve Insignia: The panther describes the determined attitude of the cadets. The shield represents a guarding of the values that promote a good cadet, a good student and a good citizen.
Shoulder Loop Insignia: Black, blue and silver gray are the school colors. The quartering signifies the consolidating of four schools. The panther shows the determined attitude and force of spirit adopted by the cadets.
The Shoulder Sleeve Insignia and the Shoulder Loop Insignia was both approved on 11 September 2003.
