English | Shoulder Sleeve Insignia. Description: On a white disc edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) green border, the overall diameter 3 inches (7.62 cm), a yellow bear erect delineated green between two arced inscriptions “BRYAN” above and “HIGH SCHOOL” below in green letters 5/16 inch (.79 cm) in height.
Shoulder Loop Insignia. Description: A gold base metal and enamel insignia 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height consisting of a shield divided diagonally white and blue, the white charged with an American bison and the blue with a flaming torch, both gold. Attached above the shield is a white scroll inscribed “ROTC” and below is another scroll inscribed “OMAHA HIGH SCHOOLS,” both inscriptions in gold letters. |
Origin/meaning
The Shoulder Sleeve Insignia was approved 26 April 1983. The Shoulder Loop Insignia was approved 9 May 1955 for all Omaha, Nebraska, Public High Schools.
