Origin/meaning

The arms show four linden leaves and are based on the arms of the Lords of Utzingen, who held several possessions in the area in the Middle Ages. The basic composition of the arms is known since 1780, whereas the present composition dates from 1930. See also the arms of Wiler bei Utzenstorf.
