The arms were officially granted on April 9, 1959.

The arms show a castle, which symbolises the local Neuburg. The shape of the castl eis based on the seal of Rudolf Beheim von Neuburg from 1256. The base shows the hills as well as the Rhine river in the municipality. Literature : Burmeister, 1975
