Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on July 15, 1980.
The lion symbolizes both the red lion of the Counts of Zweibrücken and the Dukes of the Pfalz, who ruled the village before 1385 and from 1385-1793. The small hill in the base symbolizes the prefix Hoh (high) in the name.
