KRYVYI RIH (Кривий Ріг)
Region (Oblast) : Dnipropetrovsk
Ukrainian | blazon wanted |
English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
The arms were adopted on May 20, 1998.
The main charge is a Cossack powder horn, symbol for the founder of the city, the Cossack Kryvyi Rih. The oak leave is a symbol of strength, and by its shape resembles the national symbol, the trident.
