Canton : Graubünden

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were derived from the historical seal of the village. The arms show the image of the local patron saint, St. George, killing the dragon. To distinguish these arms from similar arms with St. George, a small cross was added. The cross is the symbol of St. Andrew, patron saint of the Disentis abbey, which held most of the lands in the area.
