AMT GELTINGER BUCHT
State : Schleswig-Holstein
District (Kreis) : Schleswig-Flensburg (until 1974 Schleswig)
Additions : 2008 Amt Gelting, Amt Steinbergkirche
German |
Von Blau und Gold schräglinks geteilt. Oben eine strahlende goldene Halbsonne, unten eine abnehmende blaue Mondsichel, begleitet von einem achtzackigen blauen Stern. |
English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on January 1, 2008.
The newly formed Amt corresponds nearly completely with the historical ragion of (Nie)Harde. The crescent and star are taken from the oldest seal of the Harde, known since 1499. The division line, colours and the sun are taken from the old arms of Amt Gelting. The Amt Steinbergkirche did not use arms.
To the Amt belong :
- Ahneby
- Esgrus
- Gelting
- Hasselberg
- Kronsgaard
- Maasholm
- Nieby
- Niesgrau
- Pommerby
- Quern (until 2013)
- Rabel
- Rabenholz
