Département : Seine-et-Marne

Blason de Châtenoy (Seine-et-Marne)/Arms (crest) of Châtenoy (Seine-et-Marne)
Official blazon
French D'or au chevron d'azur accompagné de trois flambeaux de sable enflammés de gueules; au chef de gueules chargé d'une foi alésée d'or surmontée d'une couronne du même.
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were adopted in 2013.

The arms show the arms of the Picot family, former lords of the village, with a chief showing two hands. The chief refers to the peace treaty between catholics and protestants on May 2, 1576.

The arms replaced older arms, shown below.
