NO 760 SQUADRON, FAA
History: First formed in 1940 at Royal Naval Air Station Eastleigh (HMS Raven), Hampshire as Fleet Fighter Pool No 1 and partly foremd 761 Squadron in 1941. Disbanded at Royal Naval Air Station Yeovilton (HMS heron) in 1942. finally moved to Royal Naval Air Station Lee-on-Solent (HMS Daedalus) then disbanded at Royal Naval Air Station Henstridge (HMS Dipper), Dorset in 1946. Reformed 1989 at HMS Sultan as an Air Engineer Training School.
