English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on December 26, 2007.

The crossed keys refer to Sao Pedro, or St Peter, who holds the keys of the Gates of heaven. The columns and plinth beneath the keys refer to the Roman Temple adjacent to the cathedral (Se), and is symbolic of Evora itself.
