SØLLERØD

Region : Hovedstaden
Amt (until 2007) : Frederiksborg
Incorporated into : 2007 Rudersdal

Arms of Søllerød

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted in 1938.

The municipality historically belonged to the bishops of Roskilde, and after the reformation to the kings. This is symbolised in the arms. The waves represent the Furesø, Mølleå and Øresund that surround the municipality.
