Origin/meaning
A Sperm Whale belonging to the family Physeteride. The Badge is a pun on the Name. The Badge was approved in 1959, replacing a similar Badge approved from 1936. In the Earlier Badge the Fish Hook was "a grapnel of four flukes in pale pendant from a cable all gold".
