Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on June 26, 1972.
The upper half shows a bridge for the large highway bridge near the municipality, which dominates the landscape. The wavy bar is the Henschbach stream after which the valley is named.
The two villages Haschbach am Glan and Trahweiler, even though they are connected, were historically separated and were either a possession of the Von der Leyen family (blue field with silver pale) or the Counts of the Pfalz (golden lion in black). The colours of the arms are thus taken from the arms of these two rulers.
