CHAUGEY
Département : Côte-d'Or
French | D'azur au vaisseau d'or, au chef d'argent chargé d'un léopard de gueules. |
English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on February 21, 2007.
The lion is taken from the arms of Guy de Villars, medieval Lord of the village. The ship refers to vice-amiral J-H Dupotet, who was born in the village.
