Official blazon
French Écartelé: aux 1er et 4e d’azur à la croix d’or, aux 2e et 3e d’argent à la rose de gueules.
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms are a combination of elements from the former owners of the estate and village of Brettnach. The cross is derived from the arms of the Bouzonville Abbey. The rose is taken from the priory of Rozérrieulles, which in turn belonged to the Mouzon Abbey. The rose is a canting element for Rozérieulles.

Literature: information from Sébastien Ritz, Brettnach.
