History: Formed at Chingford in November 1918.

A sword in bend argent pommelled and hilted Or, the point uppermost serving a reef knot sable.

Origin/meaning
The badge symbolises the Squadron's Activities in liberating occupied territories. The badge was granted in December 1938.
