History: Formed at Pizzone, Italy in April 1918.

On a fountain a decrescent Or.
Motto: Non sibi sed patriae = For country not for self
Origin/meaning
The Fountain symbolises the Sea over which the Squadron mostly operated. The Decrescent symbolises the Bombing of Constantinople (Istanbul) during World War I and also the night flying duties of the Unit. The badge was granted in July 1939.
