NO 806 SQUADRON, FAA
History: First formed in 1940 at Royal Navla Air Station Worthy Down (HMS Ariel), Hampshire as a Fighter Squadron and served in HMS Indomitable in 1942. The Squadron reformed at the end of the Second Word War with Seafires 1945-1947.

Origin/meaning
The Badge symbolises the Fighter Role, the Latin Motto translates as "Up and into the fight". The Badge was approved in 1945.
