History: Raised at South Carlton, Lincolnshire in October 1917.
Official blazon
A lion passant azure facing to the sinister, charged with ten stars Or representing the constellation of Leo.
Origin/meaning
The Lion signifies that the unit like the Lion is always on guard in the Night Sky. The Motto translates as "We prowl by night". The badge was granted in December 1943.
