SIMENCOURT
Département : Pas-de-Calais
French | blazon wanted |
English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on March 31, 1992.
The arms are a combination of the arms of the Miraumont family in the first and fourth quarter, and the arms of the Piennes family in the second and third quarter. The estate of Simencourt was acquired in the 16th century by the Miraumont family. The arms are based on the arms seen in the local church of Péronne de Piennes, widow of one of the last Lords of Simencourt, Olivier de Miraumont.
