LUGNEZ DISTRICT
Canton : Graubünden
Official blazon
Origin/meaning
The arms show St. Mauritius on a horse, a symbol which has been used on the banners of the Lugnez district since the early 16th century. On the old banners also an image of the St. Mary and the arms of Bishop Heinrich V of Hewen (1491-1505) appear. These are not added in the arms.
