Canton : Bern

Laupersw.jpg

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The lion is taken from the arms of the Swaro family, the first Lords of Lauperswil. In 1690 the village was acquired by the farmers themselves, which is represented by the plough iron. The arms were devised in 1922.
