Spanish Escudo cortado por una faja vibrada de azur, fileteada de plata. Primero, de gules dos pozos de plata, puestos en faja. Segundo, de sable, un pico y un mazo, puestos en aspa, todo de plata. Al timbre corona real de España.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on January 11, 2005.

The wavy baar refers to the Hormachuela rive, which flows through the municipality. The mining tools in the lower half refer to the former existence of gypsum and black stone quarries . The upper half symbolizes the existence of a source and many wells, ie the abundance of water in the village.
