MONTFERRI
Region : Catalonia
Province : Tarragona
Catalan | Escut caironat: d'or, un mont creuat d'una creu patriarcal patent de sable. Per timbre una corona mural de poble
Origin/meaningThe arms were officially granted on September 19, 2000. This municipality was named Puigtinyós (literally "poor, wretched hill") until 1917, when it changed its official denomination by Montferri, the name of a little village nearby, now uninhabited. The arms, used since 1803, are canting: they show a black mount with a patriarchal cross. Contact and SupportPartners: Your logo here ?
