History: Opened on 1 March 1943 as a Satellite to Eshott.

Motto: Semper in excubitu vigilans = Always the vigilant sentry.
Origin/meaning
Boulmer beeing a Radar Station has to be always alert and the Firebrand a means of sending a warning is a link with this role. The badge was granted in 1986.
