Shoulder Sleeve Insignia. Description: On a green embroidered shield shape 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in height and 3 3/8 inches (8.57 cm) in width, edged with a 1/16 inch (0.16 cm) white border and a 1/8 inch (0.32 cm) black outer border, the silhouette of a torch and crossed saber and rifle in yellow; overall an eagle’s head Proper. Below the shield, a green scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) black border with the inscription “ATLANTIC” in white letters.
Origin/meaning
Green and white are the school’s colors. The eagle is the school mascot and represents leadership, diligence, noble nature and deeds.
The shoulder sleeve insignia was authorized on 14 December 2005.
