The arms show the saltire or cross of St. Vincent, the local patron saint, charged with the royal arms of Catalonia-Aragon (four pales Gules on Or). The village had belonged to the monastery of Sant Pere de Rodes and, in the 17<sup>th</sup> century, it formed (together with Fellines) a royal municipality.
