SULIȚA

District/county (județ) : Botoșani

Stema Sulița

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on July 12, 2019.

The spear (suliță) is a canting element,.

The mural crown with three crenellated towers refers to the old Sulița fortress founded in 1819. The wavy bar represents the Drăcșani lake in the municipality.

The mural crown, with a crenellated tower, means that the locality has the rank of commune.
