Official blazon
Un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite, tăiat în șef. În partea inferioară, în câmp albastru, se află o caleașcă de poștă de argint, dotată cu o fereastră mică rectangulară, ajurată negru și plasată în partea de sus în dreptul roților din față; pe mijlocul caleștii broșează o goarnă roșie de poștaș, cu deschizătura mare orientată spre dextra. În șef, în câmp roșu, se află o pușcă lungă de aur, cu țeava orientată spre dreapta. Scutul este timbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu un turn crenelat.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on June 16, 2016.
The rifle refers to the former village Pușca Lungă, founded before 1828, and which is now called Silistraru.
The mail carriage refers to the first post office in Brăila County, related to the former Muftiu locality, today Traian municipality.
The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
