ȘOPOTU NOU
District/county (județ) : Caraș-Severin
Official blazon
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on October 21, 2004.
The wreaths of wheat signify the richness of the area.
Ivy is a symbol of permanence and abundance, rebirth and eternal return, which is linked to the hopes of the locals.
The silver horse, free, without a bridle or a saddle, at a gallop, is a symbol of a new beginning and confidence.
The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune
