Escudo de vermelho, com um castelo de prata, composto de duas torres torreadas unidas por um pano de muralha com a sua porta de negro, cobertas e rematadas por dois cata-ventos e encimadas por duas estrelas do mesmo metal, que, em chefe, acompanham o escudete das quinas. Coroa mural de prata com cinco torres. Listel branco com os dizeres " CIDADE DE TORRES VEDRAS ", de negro.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on April 17, 1984.
Unfortunately I have no background information on these arms. Any information is welcome !
Previopusly the city used the arms below, which only differ in the crown.
