MACHELEN

Province : Oost-Vlaanderen
Incorporated into : 1976 Zulte

Wapen van Machelen (Zulte)/Coat of arms (crest) of Machelen (Zulte)

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on March 12, 1963.

The arms are those of the last Lords of Machelen, the Van der Meere family. There are no old seals of the village known, so these arms were a logical choice.
