Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on May 17, 1994.
Since 1367 the city used the arms of Austria in it seals and as its arms. To distinguish the city arms a grape vine was added in 1994. This also symbolises the (historical) importance of viticulture for the area.
Unfortunately we have no information on the meaning or origin of these arms yet.
If you have any information on the origin or meaning of these arms, or have additional images that you want to share, please mail us your information !
