German Über blauem, in Spitze ausgezogenem Schildfuß in Gold ein schwarzer, oben je zweimal geasteter, schwebender Sparren.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on November 9, 1981.

The two branches form the town;sinitial and refer to the -schwendt part of the name (Schwenden=Roden=clearing forest). The base shows the watershed between the Pram and the Aschach rivers.
