GRAMASTETTEN

State : Oberösterreich
District : Urfahr-Umgebung

Wappen von Gramastetten/Arms (crest) of Gramastetten
Official blazon
German blazon wanted
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on May 14, 1551.

The arms show the position of the Lichtenhag castle on steep rocks towering over the Grossen Rodl river. The colours are probably the Austrian colours.

Literature : Baumert, H.E. : Oberösterreichische Gemeindewappen, Linz, 1996.
