Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on 20 July, 1970.

The arms use the canting arms of the knights von Silberberg (silver mountain), squires of the Middle Ages. Silberberg is a part of the municipality and famous for the State School of Viticulture.
The wavy bar stands for the Sulm river.
