Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on June 10, 1998.

The arms were designed by PhDr. Peter Konya. They are based on the seals of Mošovice and Viesky from the 18th century found in the National Archive in Budapest. On the Mošovice seal is a horizontal plough blade with three flowers, one above and two to the sides of it. On the Viesky seal is a stylised church tower between two hills. Both were combined create the current arms. The arms were consecrated in the local church on the 15th September 1998.
