RONCONE
Region : Trentino-Alto Adige
Province : Trento
Italian |
Troncato d'azzurro e di verde: sul tutto la dea Runcina di carnagione, il peplo d'oro, la benda d'argento, la destra recante un fascio di messi, la sinistra un falcetto, entrambi al naturale. |
English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
The arms show a woman cutting wheat. The sickle she is using is a canting element, the old Italian word is roncola, roncone means a large sickle. The meaning of the woman itself I don't know.
