The functions of the organization are illustrated by the taut telephone wires and two cornets (medieval signal horn), the numerical designation being indicated by the group of three wires and the single strand. The motto translates to “I Remain Steadfast” and is suggestive of the character of the personnel in the performance of their duties. | |||
