NO 206 GROUP HEADQUARTERS, ROYAL AIR FORCE
History: Formed in June 1941, renamed as No 106 (Maintenance) Group on 1 September 1941. It was disbanded on 28 February 1946. It was reformed as No 206 Group on 1 June 1951.

Origin/meaning
The locating of the Group near the Nile is symbolised by the bezant (Desert) crossed by the River indicated by the Blue bend. The Crown and Column symbolises the Support given to the RAF. The Badge was approved in 1952.
