Badge: A Kingfisher proper.
Motto: Vigilanter = Vigilantly
Origin/meaning
The Kingfisher alludes to the location by the River Thames when the badge was granted. The Bird also symbolises the function of the Unit, to watch over Units in the UK. The badge was granted in November 1955.
