Official blazon
English Barry wavy of six white and blue; upon a horseshoe reversed gold a griffin statant wings extended red all inclined to profile.

Origin/meaning

A composite Elizabethean Word. Horseshoe for Good Luck. The Griffin from the arms of Sir Francis Drake whose Flag Shipin the West Indies and at Cadiz was Elizabeth Bonaventure. The badge was approved on 11 June 1940.
