NO 814 SQUADRON, FAA
History: First formed in 1938 at RNAS Eastleigh (HMS Raven) as a Torpedo-Spotter-Reconnaissance Unit assigned to the Aircraft Carrier HMS Hermes. Reformed in the Indian Ocean Area 1944-1946. Reformed as a Helicopter Squadron in 1960.
Official blazon
Blue; base a bar wavy white a tiger's mask affronty proper winged white.
Motto: In hoc signo = in this sign you will conquer.
