History: Formed at Baginton in August 1941.

Motto: Pennas ubique monstramus
Origin/meaning
The Peacock symbolises Operations in Burma during World War II, where the Bird is indigenous. The Motto translates as "We show our wings everywhere". The Badge was approved in October 1945.
