===Origin/meaning===
The badge is a pictorial reference to the Motto, taken from a 13th Century Czech Chronicle which relates to German intentions against Czechoslovakia. It was used as an exhortation  to the Czech Nation to thwart the German plans. The Motto translates as " One hawk scatters many crows". The Badge was granted in June 1945.
