BAND

District/county (județ) : Mureș

Stema Band

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on May 11, 2011.

The bend suggests the name of the town, alluding to the meteoric lake, unique in Europe, and the red balls represent the archaeological remains discovered in the area.

The brick wall signifies the occupation of the inhabitants, the constructions and the monuments of the locality.

The head of the calf symbolizes the traditional occupation of the inhabitants, animal husbandry.

The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
