Origin/meaning

The arms were adopted on November 20, 1999.

The three red diamonds are taken from the arms of the first lords of Bourron-Marlotte. The wavy bar symbolises the Loing river and the source of St. Severus. The musical key, brush and pen symbolise Bourron-Marlotte cultural past.
