French Écartelé: aux 1er et 4e d'argent à trois bogues de châtaigne surmontées d'une feuille de sinople posée en fasce, aux 2e et 3e de gueules à trois épis de blés d'or posés en pal et en sautoir; sur le tout, d'azur au chevron d'or accompagné de trois fleurs de lis du même.

Origin/meaning

The arms show in the first and fourth quarter a chestnut leave and chestnuts, for the local forest, which has a lot of chestnuts. The wheatears in the second and third quarter refer to agriculture. The blue shield shows the arms of Nicolas de Neufville, Lord of Villeroy and also lord of Champcueil.
